Privacy Policy

In accordance with best practice business, Drapac is committed to fulfilling the requirements of the National Privacy Principles (NPP's) as required by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (the Act). This privacy policy applies to Drapac Consulting Pty Ltd, Drapac Management Ltd. Drapac Development Pty Ltd, Drapac Investments Pty Ltd, Drapac Private Pty Ltd, Drapac Holdings Pty Ltd and Briaroaks Pty Ltd.

These principles regulate the collection, handling, use, disclosure, transfer and management of personal information.

Drapac will ensure that the requirements of the Act, and specifically the NPP's, are implemented as part of the above organisations' information management policy.

Purpose of Information Collection

In the course of conducting its business, Drapac may at times request certain information from clients, affiliates or investors. This information will be used by Drapac to maintain client contact lists, provide services, and to assist in maximising the investment opportunities available to clients.

Information collected will be specific, related to clear and identifiable outcomes and, where possible, obtained with the consent of and directly from the individual.

In order to inform you of Drapac's reasons for collecting your personal information we have formulated Information Collection Statements. The Information Collection Statements will inform you of the following:

  • Our identity and how to contact us;
  • That you are able to gain access to the information;
  • The purposes for which we have collected the information;
  • Any organisations to whom we usually disclose information of the kind collected;
  • Any law requiring that information to be collected; and
  • The main consequences (if any) for the individual if all or part of the information is not provided.

Openness

Drapac is committed to ensuring we are open and honest about our information collection practices and policies. Drapac is bound by the Act and the NPP's, and will seek to comply with requests from individuals regarding our management of personal information. Information that may be collected by Drapac includes the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • E–mail address
  • Phone number (including mobile phone)
  • Fax number
  • Investment budget
  • Previous projects in which you have invested.
  • Type of project you wish to invest in.

We may also collect other information necessary to determine your future investment needs or suitability for a current investment project. This information will be used for:

  • Mailing updates of current projects to clients, affiliates and investors;
  • Dissemination of information designed to increase client's, partner's and affiliate's knowledge of market trends, land values and property cycles;
  • Informing clients of investment opportunities;
  • Offering clients, partners and affiliates social functions or other activities that may be of interest;
  • Assisting with meeting investment objectives of clients and developers;
  • Providing clients with property advice; and
  • Other activities related to the purpose for which the information was initially collected.

Use and Disclosure of Information

Use and disclosure of information will be related to the purposes outlined in Openness, and Drapac will be diligent in preventing misuse or unwarranted disclosure of your personal information.

Information will only be used or disclosed by the staff of Drapac.

Information collected from a third party may be used provided that we take reasonable steps to provide you with an Information Collection Statement. Where possible, the identity of the third party to whom information is being supplied to, or received from, will be made available to individuals.

In any circumstance where information from a third party is used, the overriding principle behind its use will be that Drapac can add value to our relationship with you.

Information Accuracy

Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure personal information collected is accurate, complete and up–to–date. If it is established that personal information is incorrect, Drapac will take reasonable steps to restore the integrity of such information.

Information Access

Access may be granted to individuals to retrieve personal information held by Drapac in accordance with the Act and the NPP's. Access will generally be granted provided that suitable identification is produced and reasonable notice is given.

In requesting access to personal information, 14 days notice will be deemed reasonable notice for simple requests. Complex requests (if required) may take substantially longer.

All requests for access to personal information should be made in writing and submitted to the Privacy Officer of Drapac. See OPENNESS section for details.

Information Collection Statement

Drapac is the trading name of the Drapac Group of companies which includes Drapac Consulting Pty Ltd (ACN 084 866 608), Drapac Management Ltd, Drapac Investment Pty Ltd, Drapac Developments Pty Ltd, Briaroaks Pty Ltd and Drapac Holdings Pty Ltd and any related body corporate.

The provision of personal information in any form to Drapac is for the purpose of fulfilling and maximising investment goals.

Information collected will be entered onto our client database, and will be used to:

  • inform you of investment opportunities, or
  • to provide relevant information or advice.

It may also be used:

  • to provide you with Drapac's Foundations newsletters; and
  • to inform you of social events hosted by Drapac or other organisations.

If Drapac were to seek listing on the stock exchange in the future, your information may also be disclosed to the ASX and banks as part of the listing process.

Failure to provide all information requested may result in Drapac being unable to appropriately advise of strategies or opportunities available that will assist in meeting your investment objectives.

Information collected will be stored securely by Drapac, and retained until such time as no longer required. If you wish to seek access to your personal records, you should write to our Privacy Officer at Drapac, Level 11, 200 Queen Street, Melbourne, VIC, 3000.

Information may be disclosed to related companies forming part of the Drapac Group. Information will not be disclosed to any external party unless prior consent has been obtained, or unless disclosure is consistent with the Act.
